Wine tourism at the Costers del Priorat winery

Wine tourism in Priorat means visiting Costers del Priorat, a small winery founded in 2002 by a group of experienced winegrowers and wine entrepreneurs. A life project that, thanks to the work and effort of the whole team, has turned the old dream of making wines that express the great values of the Priorat into a reality.

The winery, located in an old 15th century Carthusian farmhouse, makes its wines with grapes from three historic Priorat estates: San Martí, located in Bellmunt del Priorat; Mas Alser, in the municipality of Torroja; and les Solanes del Molar, in the south of the region.

Diverse origins that offer the possibility of tasting the different geographical, environmental and climatic variables of Priorat in a single winery.

The vertiginous vineyards, located on terraces and slate terraces, are worked by hand, using organic farming methods and aiming for limited yields. A winemaking process that allows the authentic essence of Priorat to be bottled.

You can do wine tourism in Priorat with any of the tours offered, discovering the historic Costers del Priorat estate and the Carthusian farmhouse. The tour includes a visit to the threshing floor, the cellar, the ageing room, the bottle cemetery and the impressive tasting room. The visit ends with a guided tasting of the different wines produced.
