With more than 160 years of history, this estate is the birthplace of <strong>Cellers Carol Vall\u00e8s<\/strong> and continues to preserve the essence of a family project passed down from generation to generation. The estate covers 13 hectares of vineyards surrounded by the landscape of the Pened\u00e8s plain, where the family grows native grape varieties such as <strong>Xarel\u00b7lo, Macabeo and Parellada<\/strong>, as well as Chardonnay.<\/p>\n<p>The vineyards are located at around 250 metres above sea level on predominantly <strong>calcareous clay soils<\/strong>, which give their wines and cavas their distinctive character. Some of the Xarel\u00b7lo and Macabeo vines are between 45 and 70 years old. Today, all the vineyards are cultivated using <strong>organic and sustainable practices<\/strong>, reflecting the winery\u2019s strong commitment to protecting the surrounding environment and placing the land at the heart of the project.<\/p>\n<p>The Can Parellada estate has belonged to the Carol family for more than four generations. Historically, the land combined the three traditional Mediterranean crops: <strong>vines, wheat and olive trees<\/strong>. Today, the vineyards are the main focus, allowing the family to produce a selection of wines and long-aged cavas that reflect the character of the territory and the family\u2019s winemaking philosophy.<\/p>\n<p>The experience is completed by the <strong>Can Parellada<\/strong> farmhouse itself, now converted into a fully renovated rural house.
