The cooperative winery dates from 1919 and is considered one of the \u2018Cathedrals of Wine\u2019. It is a magnificent example of Modernist architecture, the work of the architect C\u00e8sar Martinell, a disciple of Antoni Gaud\u00ed. Its construction is characterised by the use of the Catalan vault and solid bricks. Each of these bricks holds the history of the trade-union movement, and it was thanks to this union of cooperative families that the cooperative has survived to this day.<\/p>\n

During the visit, discover its harmonious and elegant lines, simple and functional, all designed for making and producing wine. Don\u2019t miss the mark left on the building by the women of the cooperative, and learn about the extraordinary ingenuity and courage they showed through the story of the vermouth they make. Enjoying wine tourism in this cathedral means immersing yourself in almost 100 years of stories of resilience.<\/p>\n

The Somdinou<\/strong> winery has a large farm shop where you can buy the wines and olive oil they make, along with other quality local products. During the Gandesa Wine Festival, the Night of the White Garnatxas (Nit de les Garnatxes Blanques) takes place. \u00a9Enoguia<\/span><\/p>\n
