Catalonia: ideal for motorhome wine tourism

Penedès Route

Better known as the Cava Route, travelling around Penedès and its wineries by motorhome gives us the perfect opportunity to discover emblematic brands such as Codorníu or Freixenet. This region has 12 motorhome areas, so you will have no problem spending the night in your motorhome.

One of the things we like most about taking wine tourism routes by motorhome through Penedès is the large number of caravan-friendly wineries you can find. Castellroig (very close to Sant Sadurní d’Anoia), Cava Nadal and Cava Guilera are just some of them.

Priorat and Montsant Route

Like La Rioja, this region has achieved the Q quality designation thanks to its intense wines made mainly from Garnacha grapes. To discover all the secrets of this designation of origin, all you have to do is travel along the winding roads of Tarragona in your motorhome. Along the way, you will find a mid-mountain landscape full of vineyards cultivated on its typical terraces.

The centuries-old Cooperativa Falset Marçà (located in the municipality of Falset) is one of the most representative wineries in Montsant. At the foot of the castle (used as the Wine Museum), there will be a parking area for motorhomes, in principle, from 2022.
