The cultivation of the Arbequina variety of olive is the main activity in the area and it is complemented with vines and almond trees. The oil produced by the Cooperativa de Palma d’Ebre is superior quality extra virgin olive oil and in recent years it has been recognised with numerous regional and state prizes, such as the ‘Románico Esencia’ award for the best Arbequina olive oil. ©Enoguia
