Clos Berenguer is a family winery that was born out of a passion for the land and for creating wines inspired by this wonderful and harsh region in the DOQ Priorat. The vineyards surround the winery, forming the classic Clos, and the building is located in what used to be an old mine known as ‘La Serrana’.

Celler Clos Berenguer is a family project in the DOQ Priorat, born from a passion for the land and the desire to make wines that express the intensity and personality of this unique region. The winery is set within a landscape of vineyards that completely surround the building, creating the classic concept of a clos, where vineyard and winery form a single productive space.

One of the most distinctive features of the project is its location in an old mine known as “La Serrana”, a restored space that keeps its link with the industrial history of the area and gives the winery a unique character.

The vineyards, spread around the estate, grow on the typical llicorella soils of the Priorat, a terroir that gives the wines structure, minerality and depth. This combination of climate, soil and careful work results in limited productions of great expression.

The wine tourism visit lets you get to know this very special setting up close. The tour includes discovering the winery, its history and the winemaking process, always with a friendly and detailed explanation of the project’s philosophy.

It is followed by a guided tasting of the winery’s wines, which reflect different interpretations of the territory, from whites and rosés to more structured and complex reds.

Highlights include Blanc de Bótes, Rosat, Clos de Tafall, Min, Ed, Selecció, Finca les Sorts and Selecció Syrah, a range that shows the diversity and expressiveness of the project.
