Celler Mas d’en Just is a small family project in Poboleda, in the heart of the DOQ Priorat. Driven by the Pasanau brothers, the winery was born with the aim of making wines that reflect the personality of its vineyards and the unique character of the land.
Its wines come mainly from the Les Salenques area, a historic estate where the old Mas d’en Just stands, a farmhouse that gives the project its name and has been known for generations for the exceptional quality of its grapes. The vineyards, planted on the characteristic llicorella soils, are worked for limited yields to obtain balanced wines true to the Priorat landscape.
The wine tourism visit is a very close and personal experience. The owners themselves explain the history of the winery, its working philosophy and the particularities of growing vines in the Priorat, showing first-hand the daily life of a small producer.
One of the most special moments of the visit is tasting the wines in the vineyards themselves, surrounded by the landscape that gives rise to each bottle. This experience helps you understand the relationship between the soil, the climate and the traditional varieties that define the winery’s wines.
The visit ends with a tasting of its main wines: Mas d’en Just Blanc, Mas d’en Just Rosat and Mas d’en Just Negre, a selection that sums up the essence of this family project and the winemaking identity of Poboleda.
